Raw chipboards are a basic semi-product in the furniture industry. Their three-layered structure results from pressing small fractions of wood and it ensures ease of processing and stability of physical, mechanical and dimensional parameters. Due to small fractions used for the outer layers, the surface of the board is not too rough and can be thus successfully covered with thin films with high tear resistance. The smooth transition between successive layers of the chipboard makes the structure uniform, thus increasing the board's strength parameters.
Chipboards are successfully used to refine furniture fronts by lamination and veneering.
They are also used directly as structural elements in the production of upholstered furniture. Raw chipboards are widely used in the construction industry, mainly as insulation materials and partitions. They are a basic semi-finished product for the production of worktops, window sills, as well as floors and wall panels.
Our raw chipboard is available in the following thicknesses:
- 12 mm,
- 16 mm,
- 18 mm,
- 28 mm,
- 38 mm.
In most case raw chipboard has the following dimensions: 2800 mm x 2070 mm; only for the 16 mm thickness can the customer choose between two dimensions: 2800 mm x 2070 mm and 2620 mm x 2070 mm.
